The importance of mitosis...
The process of mitosis is important because of many reasons.
The process of mitosis is important because of many reasons.
1. Each day you loose many cells, because they die. You need to recover them, because they help you. They have a different process to help you do things. So mitosis helps you get the lost cells again.
2. Another reason is because you grow. When you grow you need more energy to help you do functions. So mitosis hepls you make cells to do those funstions.
The steps of mitosis are:
Interphase: Here the cell has a nucleus, centrioles, and the chromosomes are not yet visible.
Prophase: the nucleus starts to deteriorate, the chromosomes are now visible, and the spindel fiber arrears. The spindel fiber helps the cell strech.
Metaphase: during metaphase the chromosomes start to line up.
Anaphase: during anaphase the chromosomes separate and the spindel fiber helps each half of the chromosome move to one side and the other half to the other side.
Telophase: During telophase the new cells form their nucleus and have half of the chromosomes.
Then: 2 new cells are formaed!!
